adopted

What is the name of your state? Virginia

If you were adopted at birth and the birth certificate was fixed at birth, How do you find out who you were actually born to?Will another birth certificate be sealed away with this information? If so how do you get it?

Try finding out which adoption agency/lawyer over saw the adoption. I was adopted at birth, but was lucky enough to have know which agency the adoption went through. I contacted that agency and gave them the information I knew and $60 and about 1 1/2 months later was on the phone with my Bmom. We met for the first time last month (about 1 1/2 yrs later, just due to scheduling). (if you need help with finding the agency, look at your birth certificate and contact the hospital). If you need any other pointers feel free to contact me at ajike84@hotmail.com. I looked for about 10 years, GOOD LUCK
