adoptee needing advice please help

What is the name of your state? GA adoption finalized but live in SC now.

Hi,
I am 17 years old in 4 months I will be 18 years old and I have had contact with my birthmom all this time when my adopted parents would allow me to visit and this summer I came to visit my birthmom and my adoptive parents ask me where I wanted to stay and I told them I wanted to make where my birthmom stays my perment home and they denied my wishes and I would like to know do I have to go home or can I stay with my birthmom at her house and when can I make that decision legally as I am labeled disabled adhd and provassive development delay does 18 apply for me. I don't have a caseworker any longer since my adopted dad was accused of being abusive towards me and the case was closed and we moved to another county in the same state we are living in. I get a ssi check which is deposited in my adopted family acct which this summer they told my birthfamily if was not for my check they would be forced to give up the home they are living in so really they are not able to provide for me and there is a risk when I turn 18 I could lose my ssi and I don't want to risk the state placing me in a group home so this is another reason I want to live with birthfamily. My birthmom is fully capable of raising me and wanted to raise me along too and she has more stable home than my adopted family has now but at the time of the adoption she was under destress emontionally when the adopted family forced her to sign her rights away and they got to adopt me does any of this matter now? Can legal aid attorney help me with any of this? Can legally my adopted family do anything to me if I refuse to return home now if I am in another state too? Also can the adoption be reversed? Its not that I don't appreciate all my adopted parents have done for me but I would like them to be my grandparents instead of adopted parents and I would like to live with my birthfamily like it should of been from the get go is this possible?. I don't have anyone I trust to talk to about this so this is why I desperaly need answers.
Thanks

Once you are 18, you are an adult and can live anywhere you choose. Although you have some disabilities, you are obviously high functioning and capable of making decisions.
Right now, you are a minor and your adoptive parents are the ones who get to choose where you live. Four months isn't that long, you can move out then.

Good luck.

Thanks for the advice on when I can move out I sure can't wait for those 4 months to be up not that I don't love my adopted parents/grandparents it just have been kept away from my birth mom so long and she really does love me and wants to help me with the road ahead of me she would of been raising me had dfac and my adopted parents not interferred and forced her to sign her rights away. I can't wait for the tug of war to be over.
thanks for the good luck too I am sure I am going to need it.
