Adopting

State California.
My friends daughter is pregnant, she is not going to keep it. I would like to adopt but last agencie I called said it would cost near 18k $. What legal action can we do that would not take so much funds or is there any?
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Adopting

I hope that the father of the baby is agreeable to this adoption. Please read the posting just before yours. If you hired an adoption lawyer for the private adoption, it would probably be cheaper than an agency.
