What is the name of your state?indiana. thanks for the imfo seanscott.but im still wondering about visitation for the natural father,we are okay with it, and he would like to have something legal. i know they have some visitation in the open adoptions that they now have. can this not also apply to this situation ?

It's called a Post-Adoption Contact Agreement. If everyone can agree on the terms, then you memorialize that in writing, everyone signs it and it is enforceable via contract law.
