My new husband would like to adopt my 10 year old son. My son's natural father has not seen nor had contact with him since my son was 3 months old. I was wondering if there is a time period after so long that we do not need to contact him about the adoption? He also has never paid child support and I have no idea where he is. I live in Pennsylvania.

I would suggest seeing an attorney. It will cost youa round $1500. There are ways around not knowing his location. However, it has to be done properly! It does sound as if you have excellent grounds to terminate his parental rights based on abandonment and lack of contact.

A. Put the remote control between his toes.

Q. Why do men buy electric lawn mowers?
