adoption during a divorce

i am from West Virginia and am going thru a divorce. over a year ago i filed for a divorce and have since then adopted my girlfriends 2 children. i have asked for a hearing to remodify my temporary alimony. my ex is now asking that the adoption be set aside and saying that it was an illegal adoption because she wasn't told about the adoption and she did not sign a consent for it. my question is does she have any legal right's to this adoption and can she cause me to lose my children. the biological father and mother have both signed the consent form's and the adoption has been final for over a month now and it has been signed by a judge. birth certificates have been changed and all. Can she make it so that i can't have my alimony dropped so that i can support my children ?
