adoption/grandparent visitation question

What is the name of your state? tennessee i was watching a movie this morn on lmn about this dentist in staten island ny who beat his wife to death. there was then a custody battle over their son, his dead wife's sister and her husband finally won custody, and subsequently adopted him. the grandparents had visitation rights, then during one of the childs visits, illegally adopted him. the aunt and uncle finally got him back. my question is, in this case, would the grandparents still get visitation, even after all that crap they pulled?
