Adoption Help

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas.
This question is for my sister who is having trouble right now.
She just found & got into contact with her 17 year-old son in Bonweir, TX
She was in an abusive relationship at the time and her boyfriend forced her into giving up their son for adoption to her (then)boyfriend's mother. My sister 's son told her that his father has beating on him and my sister wants to know if there is anyway possible to get her parental rights reenstated and get her son back. The adoption was an open adoption too. But, she denied contact with her son until recently only because she found him online.Her son wants to be in contact with his mom, be around his mom too. Any help or information that I can give her?

By the time anything got through the court system the child would be 18.

That being said- it's also very unusual for an adoption to be "undone"

Tell sis to have a room ready for kiddo the day he turns 18.

If the boy really is being abused, he should call police/CPS and/or talk to his school counsellor.
