Adoption Question

What is the name of your state? North Carolina

Can my boyfriend/fiance adopt my daughter before we get married?

In general the answer is no, but especially in your case since he already owes back child support and alimony arrearages. Why would any court assign to him more responsibility for a child when he has already proven he has neglicted his own? If you are so wealthy, why do you need anyone to adopt your child if you are not planning on marriage so he can avoid his responsibility for his children? This man is using you and your child, cut your losses and find a responsible man to build a future with.
