Adoption Signing Papers

What is the name of your state? az

Question -

Lets say mom and daughter lives in there "homestate" -
Bio Dad lives in Az - Adoption papers are filed in moms/daughters home state- However dad has to sign them in his state in front of a Judge Why is that ? Confused ?? Is is because Child Support is done in the fathers home state ?

adoption papers need to be signed in front of a judge so it can be determined that 1) he really did sign them and 2) it is of his own free will to sign his rights away and put the child up for adoption.
Child support is not an issue for adoption. You have legally signed your right away.

ok the strange is
Her attorney called on 3/4 and told father that she has to call the courts here to set up a date this can be done -
1. Should she send him the legal papers BEFOR she contacts the courts for a date for signing ? Or will he not have any say so on what is in the papers -

Child Support is not the issue right now -Thank God it is all done with the same court -
Same judge that told ex wife to work things out - She refuses
What if the Judge does not think it is in the best intrest of the child just the mother?

- I am saying this because of a comment on a court paper the Judge told the mom. "That as the mom you need to realize the effects the child may be facing without her father"
