Adoption of sister's baby

Hi, I need some advice. My husband and I are planning on starting a family soon. We are not sure if I can have a healthy baby (I have a skin condition and have taken a vary of drugs over the years that are known to possibly cause birth defects).

Recently, my younger sister has become pregnant. She is not at all interested in having a baby, and as far as we can tell, neither is the father. My husband and I are seriously considering trying to adopt her child.

I have not approached her with this yet, but will have to soon. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

You will need both mom and dad's consent and quite frankly you will also need an attorney.
