Birthparent Right To Change Mind?????

MICHIGAN My daughter gave birth to a baby boy on 12/15/04. She went to a hospital & gave it up for adoption without telling me about it. Well, now I KNOW about it, she finally told me! She had been on drugs and the baby is going to need special care, but otherwise healthy. My daughter is 26 years old & was under duress, she also has A.D.D. She said they made her sign a contract that was "iron clad" at the hospital. She said the adoptive parents were present when she gave birth. She said she was too ashamed to tell me she was a drug addict AND pregnant. Now we want to get that baby back! It's only been 12 days as of today since he was born. Can we legally do anything? I will adopt it and take care of it myself. I have excellent insurance and the financial ability to care for this baby. My daughter will go to rehab & serious counseling. She will finally get the help she needs for therapy and medication. But, we just want this baby boy back! I want my only grandchild! Can anyone help me? Please respond as soon as possible. What are OUR legal recourses right now? Where do we even begin? Please HELP!

You need an attorney, immediately. I don't know if there is anything that you can do or not...however I am certain that you need an attorney if anything IS possible.
