can anything be done if bp does not want to give up child?


birth father named in divorce papers
not on bc (baby born after break up not before divorce started)

after applying for medical assistance from state mother named father to get cs, said she had to name father for assi.


(mother wanted father to have nothing to do with child mad at father so did not name on bc.)

he stopped paying cs when she would not let him so child.
(is paying all cs now past and present)

in div paper given visit
when child 3 court re ordered visits.
mother agreed but thought he not serious.

6 yrs later stop visits again
have not seem child since 1998

cs is being pay
sp called 11/2001
wants father to give up child.


at end of first visit in 1996 mother wanted adopt to sp
father said no

after birth of our child in 1997 same ? father told her no

child bought up know sp than bf as father since 1993 AGE 1
was told who father was age 5 then mother stop being home etc
for visits.

father tried to do what was best for child
mother has child against father and for sp

step wants adopt feels best for child and name change
so child can have same name as him mother and 2 sibblings.

has 1 sibbling by us but children never given chance to know each other. ours 5 knows of sibbling not under stand by cant see eachother but has seem each other at gp who do get to see child.


can any thing be done with out fathers say so?

he does not want to give up child.
