Can my mother force adoption?

I'm a 16 year old girl from Tennessee. I'm about 2 months pregnant, and my Mother is threatening to force me to put the baby up for adoption when it is born. Can she do that? She claims she can, but I don't see where that is possible. After all, it is MY child, right? Any advice would be helpful! Thank you.

she cant force you to give up the baby for adoption. But, you should seriously consider that option.

Not being mean, just practical.
