My 2 daughters were adopted in 1998 by my now former husband. They are now ages 11 and 9(soon to be 12 and 10) and do not want to have him as a father anymore. They know that they are adopted and do not want to be adopted anymore. Is there a way that they can petition the court so that he is not there adopted father anymore? Can they have the adoption annulled or terminated upon their request? The oldest doesn't even want to have anything to do with her adoptive father. Recently, there was a PFA granted on behalf of the girls because of the adoptive father using inappropriate discipline. Can anything be done on behalf of the girls? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
