Find out if my child is adopted

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington

A little history: 15 years ago, I got a girl pregnant in California (where I live). The girl's foster mother immediatley packed her up and moved her to Washington State. 3 months after my daughter was born, her mother ran off and got in trouble with the law. She signed her parental rights away. I did not. In the next few years, I went to child support court,(exempt from paying due to being on disability), hired a lawyer to establish visitation and grandmother moved again. The child was lost to us all those years. Thanks to the internet, I have found my daughter when she was 11 years old. Now I am told that she has been adopted.
How can I go about finding out if this is true legally? Is there a website or something?

There is no website database of adoptions/adoptees.

You really need to speak with an attorney but either way need to answer these questions:

Were you legally established as father?

To whom did Mom sign away her parental rights? And who petitioned for child support?

What happened when you found your daughter as an eleven year old? What has happened between finding her and finding out she has been adopted?

Did you file anything at that time?
