my question is that we live in wv and are wanting to adopt our grandson. his mother and him has lived with us since he was born he is almost 2. his mother was 17 when she had him. the mother has signed consent forms but the father which is 20 will not sign papers. hear say is that his mother has presured him not to sign since he has been living back at home. also it has been said that he forced himself on our daughter. he never came around to see the child after the state of wv got him for child support. and after our daughter would not let his parents take the take child out of town for the weekend (which the child really doesn't know them) his parents got him to sue for custody of the child. the mother is planning on getting married in dec. of this year and of course the father of the child is very jealous. he does not want our daughter to marry someone else and also he does not want them to move 1000 and some miles away. help what can we do? is there not anyone out there that has any idea what we can do????????
