help on finding adoption papers ...

What is the name of your state? Long Island Ny
Im trying to find out where would docket numbers would be..In a surrogate Court . In Mineola Ny ,,,, I gave a child up for adoption and was confirmed she was adopted out thru that court. Threw the Judge. But,as they say Im not allowed any info..I didnt get any any when they forced me to give her up I was unwed at the time..And Ive been searching for her for 7 years now her DOB is 12./12/77. Can someone help me out ...And ,also what is Minute books and would that be of help to..As Long Island does not have any birth Indexs like NYC does...Thanks Sue
