I am 38 years old. my birth father gave up custody to my stepfather when I was 4. My mother and stepfather have been divorced now for 10 years. My stepfather sexual abused my sister and me. We want to reverse our adoption by him without involving him Can it be done and if so how?

Could Mom do a single-parent, adult "adoption"? This would NOT require adoptive dad's ok, and would get him removed as the legal parent. It would not, however, RESTORE biodad as legal dad.
