What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Mexico
My wife and I are unable to have children. We love kids and really want to adopt, but we are afraid that there might be a few things that would stop us from adopting a child. I have a felony record. In 2005 I was convicted of 3 non violent felonies and 1 misdemeanor. I did my time with and parole with no incidents and have not had any problems since. My wife is disabled with a bad back. I work at a convenience store as a clerk. We bring in about $26,000 a year before tax. Could or would any of this stop us from adopting a child?
