My husband has a niece and nephew in Trindad/Tobago. They were abandoned by their mother a couple of years ago and their grandmother has been caring for them. She recently called my husband and wanted him to take them because of illness and age. My question is what would be the first steps to do this. we would most likely adopt them, My husband has his citizenship and I am a natural US citizen. Any help you can give us would be appreciated.
