Just need help

What is the name of your state?Maryland. I was divorced in Ohio, my kids were adopted in Hawaii and now live in Missouri. Six years ago I gave my kids up for adoption but never wanted to be out of their lives, of course my ex kept me out. I know for a fact that my kids are very unhappy where they are. My daughter is 16 and my youngest is 14. If the daughter wanted to live with me, can she legally. If so, what can I do. I really need to be put on the right track. Thanks.

You are a legal stranger to the children now. You have no rights of any kind.
You would not be able to petition for visitation or custody. Once your children become legal adults they would be free to contact you if they so desired, but other than that, you have no options.
