my husband wants to adopt my son.

What is the name of your state? Georgia

I was married 3 years ago. My husband wants to adopt my son. My son's father is not around nor does he pay child support. My son could not pick him out of a police line up. I have always given his father the opportunity to see him but he just seems like he doesn't want to. But he refuse to give up his rights. What can I do?

You can file to terminate his rights, and to have your husband adopt him. It may or may not be granted.

This is a frequently asked question. Search this site with the words "stepparent adoption" and you'll find a TON of info. Everything you want to know.
