Open Adoption

West Virginia

A mother lost her parental rights to her baby. The biological father now has custody of her. How do we go about him signing over his parental rights to my husband and I? The biological father and grandmother is ok with it.

What is your relationship to the child? Why were Mom's rights terminated?

The baby is my father in laws' girlfriends grandchild. Mother lost her rights due to abuse, endangerment, and neglect all with intent for injury.
