We are in Indiana & would like to know if it's possible to give a 15 y/o up for adoption?
The Mother gave up custody to the Father in April of 2005 & the child has enough serious psych, emotional, criminal issues that the Father just doesn't have the capabilities of helping/controlling. Is there anything that the Father can do to give this child up? Note: the child has done enough bad things to everybody else in this family that no one would willingly take this kid in.

Dad can give custody back to mom but he cannot put the child up for adoption w/o the mother's consent. And I highly doubt that adoption would help anything, other than to relieve his distaste for the responsibility.
I suggest some serious counseling to find out the source/s of the problem/s and not to bail Jr. out next time he gets into trouble.
