Reuniification

What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania

Hello I reluctantly gave up my kids for adoption cause their mother is a ****ing cold hearted bitch. Accusing me of molestation, abuse, etc.. because I got married and she lost all control. Because of all of these accusations my frame of mind made me give in and give them up. Can I appeal or get it overturned?

Most likely not. This was HOW long ago and was it in the same state?

Slow it down right there buddy. The mother could have accused you of inviting Mike J. over for 'sleep-overs' with the kids everynight. YOU made the conscious decision to give up the children for adoption. You made your bed, now lie in it. No one put a gun to your head and demanded you give the children up, in fact, if I'm not mistaken; there is a part of the papers you sign that state you are doing this of your own free will.

In addition, you're question was answered by IAAL a few months ago. One moment and I will post a link to the thread.

FRankly, I should ignore your thread for responding in such a jerk-faced way. This HAS been addressed on many other occassions and a simple search of the archives would have also provided the answer. You willfully consented, i.e., nobody put a gun to your head or obtained your signature while you were in the hospital under anesthetic!

You cannot rescind because that is your state's law. Adoptions are not considered something that can be treated like a purchase from the Gap - "If I'm not happy about this in two weeks, I'll just change my mind"

http://www.adoptionsolutions.com/general/state%20laws/pa_law.htm

excerpts of PA adoption law:

"Consent to Adoption

Consent may only be revoked prior to the final decree of adoption or the termination of parental rights, whichever occurs first.

Consent cannot occur until 72 hours after the birth of the child. Consent may ONLY be revoked prior to the final decree of adoption or the termination of parental rights, whichever occurs first."

However, feel free to consult an attorney in your state.

It could be worse, in Indiana you would of had 30 days after notice that it had been filed to contest and after that you would be SOL wether it was final or not. AND the only way to contest it would of been to file AGAINST it in court.

Damn. I thought I was finally going to wax poetic about the status of economic and political affairs in Germany after the wall came down.

Instead, I'm face to face with a jerkwad idiot who can't even hold on to his kids because he's stupid enough to sing them over to a stranger.

I need a drink.

That was not an ethical lecture. An ethical lecture would have been something along the lines of, How could you possibly give your children up for adoption simply because you were too spineless to stick up for yourself?

See the difference?

Say what you want. Doesn't take away from the fact that if I saw you face to face you simply would say nothing. That is because you are a puss. Period.

I'm a girl. I would say anything I wanted to you, I'd entice you and antagonize you until you hit me, or spit on me, anything really that could be construed as malicious; then I would call the police and have you arrested.

It's fun to be female!!

Why is it that when guys dont like what they hear this is what they go back on? That is exactly what my husbands ex-wife's boyfriend does...then he went from that to threatening to kill me.
If this is how you act with your ex and your kids that you have with her, maybe it was a good idea that you did what you did. Kids dont need to grow up in that kind of enviroment.
This is just the opinion I got after reading it all.

Because some boys have never grown up.

It's called a pissing contest and women just do catfights.

Personally, I prefer the latter with popcorn and Mountain Dew
