Reversing adoptionWhat is the name of your state? Nevada I was adopted at age 2 and was abused by my "mother". How do I go about reversing the adoption? I am 27 now and feel like this would be good closure for me at this time in my life. |

| While you can't reverse the adoption, any more than you can "reverse" your bioparent, you CAN be adopted as an adult, which would change who your legal parent or parents actually are. THis would require that an individual or couple be willing to make you their legal "child". If you and dad are on good terms, he, alone, could adopt you, for example.
