South Carolina Husband to adopt stepsonWhat is the name of your state? South Carolina I'm just curious as to WHERE i start to get started in having my husband to adopt my son! we have been together for 8 1/2 yrs and hes been the only father to my son since he was newborn. My son is now 8 yrs old and maybe seen his biological father 5 times if that. I really want to have my husband adopt my son so that we can make this legal and he can have the same last name as his siblings and parents(step father and I) Any advice is welcome and appericated... Thank you |

| Start with an adoption attorney.
