My husband wants to adopt my daughters.
They both receive a ss check from there father who is disabled. Will that stop once the adoption goes through?

Does dad want to allow the adoption? Nice that you believe you should be able to use dad as a bank account though you don't want him as dad.

Survivor's benefits survive a stepparent adoption but I have never heard that dependent benefits do. You would have to ask the SSA. However, if their father does not agree to terminate his parental rights its not likely that your husband will be able to adopt the children.
