Step Parent adoption/name change

What is the name of your state? Florida I need help! My new husband wants to adopt my daughter who is 4, but when she was born I was married to a man who is not her father, but he is on the birth certificate. I had a paternity test done to check, and the biological father i have no clue what ever happen to him or if I am really even sure who is. How do I start the adoption and change the name on my daughters birth certificate because she has my ex-husbands name who is not even her father, and he has had nothing to do with us since she was 3 months old. I am desperate to have this done, please help!!
