Question
birth mother and stepdad live in california, married in october, child support collected through washington state where they recently moved from. birth dad lives in arkansas. what is time frame after marrying stepdad can adopt child. birth dad willing to consent and do whatever possible to speed up process.

There is no time frame that a step parent has to adopt a child. If all are in agreeance to the adoption, there should be no problems.
