Termination of parental rights in stepparent adoption

My husaband is trying to adopt my son from his biological father who has not had contact for almost 4 years. During the time of seperation ( never married) i filed a long term restraining order for 1 year and he signed papers to change my sons last name to mine. The restraing order was granted for my daughter who claimed sexual abuse by this man ( ocs substantiated the claim) but police couldnt find colaberating evidence,so no charge was made what papers to i file to terminate parental rights in order in proceed with a adoption without consent also no child support has been paid

I strongly recommend you retain the services of an adoption attorney in your area. Adoption is not a do-it-yourself endeavor. You will be quite displeased if you make a mistake and the adoption is overturned years from now, right? Don't take that chance.
