Question

uncontested grandparent adoption

What is the name of your state? indiana
in this state (indiana) can grandparents (with guardianship for the last 7 yrs) adopt their granddaughter without an attorney? the mother is deceased and their is no father of record (there is a suspected father who is in prison and she says he will agree to the adoption)?

Its never a good idea to do an adoption without an attorney. Its too important of an issue and too many things can go wrong.
