I live in the state of FL. My husband wants to adopt my 4yr old daughter, whom he has raised since infancy. My ex resides in WV. I have someone who will be visiting him soon. They are going to ask him to sign a consent and waiver form of his parental rights. FL has this particular form, WV does not. Even if I am able to obtain such a form, and he signs it; will I still need his signature after we proceed w/ the adoption? or his free and clear after signing the waiver?
