CT..married for 3 yrs. Husband makes 40,000/yr working full time. I work 20 hours/week part time, full time mom and homemaker. I have no family in this state..it's my husband's hometown. During and after divorce the 2 lawyers I talked to (free consultation) said I won't get alimony for life but definitely with my situation would get at least half of the time we were married if not the whole 3 years that we're married plus child support. When I told my husband this he says the lawyers I talked to are promising me the moon and that the lawyer he has now said the opposite--that no way the court will grant me a penny. Laywers???? anyone?????can you make things clearer? At this point I am financially unable to retain a lawyer.

AH, this is where you have to consider the source of your information. Hubby isn't going to go down with out a fight, now is he?

hm

DAY 752 - My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional piece of furniture. Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant.

DAY 761 - Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded, must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair...must try this on their bed.

DAY 762 - Slept all day so that I could annoy my captors with sleep deprivation, incessant pleas for food at ungodly hours of the night.

DAY 765 - Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. The only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was... Hmm, must try this with the baby...
