40 year marriageWhat is the name of your state? Georgia I have been married for 40 years in Oct 2007. My husband is cheating on me. Can I get Alimony &/or spousal support? |

| Alimony is spousal support. But we don't know. Do you work? Does he work? What do you each earn? What are your skills? Your health? Is alimony even a good option for you or would you be better off without it? What income do both of you have? What assets do you have?

| I would think both of you would be planning on cutting back and retiring soon. In which case assets, your retirement funds and SS would soon be the bulk of your incomes anyway.
