Alimoney question

What is the name of your state? California



I'm going thru a divorce and need info on how alimoney payments are determined. I am on non paid leave of absence and have not had any income for the past year, my wife (soon to be ex) is receiving social security payments. We have been married for over 30 years, I am 63 and she is 69. I have been unsucessful in finding employment (tech field). Her lawyer (I don't have one) is looking for a financial settlement (something other than 50/50)and I'm not sure of where I stand. Her lawyer can run the figures through a computer program that lets him know what the courts will decide is fair and I don't have this info so I'm at a disadvantage. There is very little money involved (<250K) and I would like to have the same info her lawyer has. If available can someone direct me to a web site with the computer program available. I would like to know if the courts can make me pay alimoney if I'm not working.
