Alimony

What is the name of your state? Maryland

How will a judge decide if my ex deserves alimony...I work a full time job & my ex works part time making nominal income by HER choice..I have asked her to help by getting a better job but she refuses too..She wants to live off possibly alimony & child support by me..Help?!?
