alimonyIn my divorce it states under alimony "Said alimony shall be non-modifiable and non-extendable". Said alimony shall be tax deductable to husband and taxable to wife. The parties waive any and all other forms of alimony. This is for 4 years. It has only been 1 year so far that he has paid. I am getting married this year. Since we wrote this in my divorce like this and he signed, can he stop alimony payments? ![]() |

| If there's no provision in your decree that states that it stops if you remarry and there's no provision in your top-secret state's laws that states that spousal maintenance stops if a recipient remarries, then he must continue to pay it. |
