| Alimony, cohabitation,Disability Ohio, I was found to have a heart, lung illness, (pph) I was told less then 2 years to live. My husband of 18 years left due to the illness. We were granted a divorce in 1999 after 4 years of living apart. My exhusband that has a income of about $100,000 a year was ordered to pay Alimony for life or my remarrage. No terms about cohabitation, my support order was set at 1800 a month. I then after 2 years was able to get on SSI of a total of $700.00 a month. He took be back to court and was ordered to pay$800.00 a month due to the fact I am on SSI. I was placed on a new drug from the Cleveland Clinic that has prolonged life (I still have the illness and each day is borrowed) I now have a man living with me he has his own job and pays his own way. I go to court Nov 1,my ex wants to end support after 6 years on a life order do to the fact I now live with someone. Can he do this and if not where can I find that in Ohio, cohabitation is not looked at in court. The court does retain jurisdiction on the order. Is there a clear cut rule in ohio about cohabitation. or is each case up to the courts Thank you Kim
