Alimony FraudWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oregon My ex and I divorced in 1999. Our alimony agreement required me to pay $600 per month until she remarried. In Dec. of 2000 she advised me that she had married in the state of Oregon and I discontinued paying alimony. Today, I was shown a nevada marriage licence indicating that she had actually married the same man in April of 2000. Nine months before the Oregon wedding. Can I claim a refund for the alimony paid over the 9 months she was already married? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? |

| Except that he stated that he had seen a marriage LICENSE. A license does not prove that an actual marriaged happened, only that they applied for a license. They might have applied for the license and then decided against a Vegas marriage.
