my ex-husband has wracked up a substantial debt and will probably flee the country to avoid paying. do i have to still pay him alimony if he flees the country?

My response:

First of all, owing money is not a crime. Therefore, there's no "fleeing".

Second, does your court order state something that he can't move away and, if he does, Spousal Support is terminated?
