alimony rights

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? VA
I already have been awarded alimony. Our divorce was finalized 2 years ago. I have been unsuccessfully seeking full time employment. I currently was offered a temporary 8 to 10 week job with the Census Bureau. If I accept this positon will I lose my alimony due to having my own income even though this is temporary employment?

Don't know. What exactly does it say regarding alimony in your court order?
