armin hammer please unlock your thread

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

(though it's - unfortunately for you - a fairly easy answer...if the order is domesticated in WA they can and will garnish your wages. They can't touch your wife's wages by a garnishment but they can levy your joint accounts)

Don't know how to unlock thread

I'm new to this forum and I don't know how to unlock threads. Can you tell me how, and what that does?

Thanks

My divorce was filed in Colorado. Can they get to my bank account or wages in Washington?

Yes, they can. Unfortunately your decree is not modifiable. Really, all we can do is encourage you strongly to consult with an attorney to see if there's anything at all you can do.

Sorry it wasn't better news.
