Can you go back to court & change agreement?Texas. My ex and I agreed to an amicable divorce and decided to write our own agreement. My ex chose the lawyer to do the filing, one he had used before. I was pressured to just accept what my husband said the worth of our property was. He made threats to just sell every thing and then see what I would get. We co-owned a business and rental properties. He said he could always just start over. I would like to have a judge hear everything and decide if I really got a fair deal. Is this possible? | You would need to contact a lawyer and speak to them. If your husband KNOWINGLY led you to believe the property was worth less you may or MAY NOT have a right to recover. The judge COULD tell you that you should of investigated more before accepting the offer... but he/she COULD give you a say. No-one can really say for sure, that's why I suggest contacting an attorney for nothing less then a free consult.
