Child support net income calculation

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

Is there a time frame that Net Income is calculated over or is Net Income based on present income?

Child support is not calculated using your net income, it is calculated using your gross income, minus any mandatory deductions.

Your net income is different because it sometimes includes voluntary deductions.
