Divorce and Alimony

What is the name of your state? New Jersey
I have a friend who wants to get a divorce from his wife, they have no children together, they both work, he wants to hopefully get the house, and give her a settlement of equity, but he is confused about alimony, she works but makes less than him. Would he have to give her alimony? or for a short time?
or what? And also, if he goes through one of those Divorce Center places which are located throughout NJ will that be quicker??????????

If it's the same friend as in your other posts, a two year marriage is unlikely to result in his paying alimony. However, he has other problems with his green card that he should really speak with an immigration attorney about ASAP if he hasn't.
