Does Calif recognize Canadian common law?

If 2 Canadians are acknowledged as common law husband and wife for 12 years in Canada, will they be recognized as legally married in California?

How long must they live together in California for the earning spouse to be obliged to provide spousal support?

If the earning spouse has all assets in California and the non-earning spouse returns to Canada, does the non-earning spouse have a claim for spousal support?
