enforcing alimony between states

What is the name of your state? maine

i have a divorce judgement in the state of maine including for $ alimony per month. my husband lives in florida and refuses to pay - has paid nothing and bluntly says he will never pay alimony. I have no money to hire an attorney, what can I do to get this court order enforced in florida?

i am not a lawyer..... but i think you can send the order to the district attorney in the town or city where he lives and ask them to enforce it. if he is not currently paying alimony when a judgement has been made he is in contempt of court. it wont hurt to try.
