Equitable distribution

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY

I was married from 1973 - 1987 and have 4 adult children with my ex husband. He is retiting from the plumbers union in December. Am I entitled to part of his pension? Our separation and divorce agreements do not menion pensions. If I am entitled how do I claim my share of his pension in the most affordable way? I have never resceived spousal support. I only received child support.

If pensions were not mentioned in the divorce then you are not entitled to a share of his pension.

Agreed.
Additionally, the GOOD news is that he's not entitled a share of yours (if not mentioned in the decree).
